CRYSTAL PALACE DINOSAURS DRAWING TOURS

FAQ and Info

Looking forward to hosting some sessions with the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs at the Heritage Open Day 11th September! Here's what you might need to know about the classes.

Do I need to be able to draw?

Definitely not! This is a class about making creative, experimental drawings using an exciting subject matter, at whatever level of experience. I'll encourage you to loosen up, let go of the idea of having to do a 'good drawing' and take something home you can be proud of!

What do I need to bring?

Ideally, bring your own sketchbook and pencil, along with anything else you'd like to use, but I will have plenty of spare materials available if you've come along on a whim!

How long is the class?

Generally my classes run for 60-90 minutes, but consist of multiple exercises building towards a final drawing. You are welcome to drop out early if you can only come for part, or stick around drawing for a bit longer if you like!

Is this class for kids?

This is a class for grown-ups, including inspiration from fine art history and discussions about experimental art-making techniques. The class might be suitable for artistic teens, but isn't aimed at younger ones!

I want to draw something other than what the class is focused on - can I still come?

Of course! The techniques I teach can be used on any subject matter.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me an email using the contact form on the homepage.
